Canada's oil sands are going green, at least according to their massive PR campaigns. The Pathway Allegiance (legally distinct form the Pathways Alliance) released this ad about their net-zero by 2050 pledge and their plans to deploy carbon capture, and it's surprisingly honest!
But seriously, The Pathways Alliance is a two-pronged greenwashing / lobbying campaign. They want to maintain their social license to operate by appearing to take climate seriously.
